Cinnamon sugar cookies are one of my daughter’s favorite cookies. I love these because they are quick to make and delicious.
When I started this blog, I knew exactly what I wanted my main focus to be. First and foremost, I wanted to share delicious tried and true recipes that my family enjoys. I also wanted to offer you quick and easy recipes that everyone has time to make. I know some people are avoiding boxed and processed foods, but sometimes they sure make things easier. There are nights when we do not have the time for a meal or dessert that is made from scratch. That is when these quick and easy meals come in and make you look like a master chef without requiring all your time and fuss.
These cookies are super quick and easy because they use Pillsbury Refrigerated Sugar Cookie dough. Whenever I go into the grocery store, I always pick up a roll because it is so versatile.
- 1 roll (16.5 oz) Pillsbury® refrigerated sugar cookies
- 6 tablespoons sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- Preheat the oven to 350°. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper. Set aside.
- Scoop out tablespoon size amounts of cookie dough and roll in your hands to make a ball.
- Then roll the ball of dough through the cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Place balls on cookie sheet about 2 inches apart.
- Flatten cookies slightly with a spatula. Use spatula to create a light grid on top of cookies.
- Sprinkle the top of the cookies with more cinnamon sugar mixture.
- Put cookies in the oven and bake for 8-12 minutes or until the edges are lightly brown.
- Remove and let cool for about 5 minutes before removing from pan.
- Enjoy!
they look yummy!
Thanks for stopping by, Dina! The Cinnamon Sugar Cookies are yummy and so easy to make too!
In an overall healthy lifestyle, there’s nothing wrong with a shortcut now and then! I love how thin these are! YUM!
Julie – I feel the same way. 🙂 Thanks for stopping by! See you again soon!
I need that mile-high stack of cookies, stat!
I could have eaten the whole stack right then and there! Thankfully, I mustered up some self-restraint! 😉
LOVE how easy these are. Where did you get that adorable little cake stand?!
Thanks Julie! That cute cupcake stand came from Bed, Bath & Beyond. Isn’t it too cute??
It’s almost 10 pm but I’m half tempted to run to the store to buy some sugar cookie dough right now! I could go for a stack of these and a nice cold glass of milk!
These cookies are so irresistable, it is hard not to eat them all! Thanks for stopping by! 🙂
These look absolutely delicious, but I must say I do feel a little cheated: it’s virtually impossible to have such a high stack, with so much yumminess around you! How’d you do it?
Believe me, it took all my willpower to resist eating the whole stack myself. I made sure that I made them and got them photographed before the kids got home from school!!! 🙂 Thanks for stopping by.
These look so delicious yet they’re so easy to make!! Awh, I love them! x
Thanks so much for comment! I am off to check out your blog! 🙂
Ummm, yeah. That whole stack in the picture up there, just box those up and send them to me. Please. 🙂 Thanks so much for sharing your links at our “Best Of The Weekend party”! I have pinned this to our party board and to another big board too. We hope to see you again at the next party! Have a great week. xoxo, Claire
gorgeous!
GORGEOUS!!! These would be my favorite cookies, but I’d have to hide them from my daughter…
I know what you mean. I had to make and photograph these cookies before the kids came home from school!
These are AMAZING! Thank you for the recipe, a new favorite for me.
Thank you for your sweet note, Shannon! I am so glad that you liked them and even enough to blog them! 🙂
